Do you need a quick gift idea? These shaker magnets are fun and easy to create. But beware, they become addictive. You’ll be wanting to make some for every season and holiday!
You will need:
Favor tins- I found these in the “wedding” section at JoAnn’s 25 for 19.99
small stamp
Designer Series background paper
Cyrstal Effects
Sticky Strip
glitter or glass beads
ribbon
magnets for any office supply store
left over stamp rubber from when you are cutting out your stamp sets
Cut out a circle from the Designer Series Paper for the inside of the tin. I used the lid as my template. Apply a small amount of Crystal Effects to the paper and attach to the inside of the tin.
Stamp and decorate your image. Attach 2-3 layers of left over rubber to the back of your image and attach to the inside of the tin. The layers of rubber will bring the image to the front of the tin.
Add glitter or glass beads. I used 3/4 TBS of large glitter.
Run a bead of Cyrstal Effects along the inside of the lid and attach to the tin. Set aside and let dry.
Attach 3/4″ x 7″ strip of Designer Series paper around outside of tin. Use 1 strip of Sticky Strip on each end.
Tie ribbon around tin.
Add magnetic piece to back of tin.
