A few days ago, I posted instructions on how to decorate a clear glass ornament using Stampin’ Up!’s re inkers, Dazzling Diamonds and glitter (Instructions and photos can be found in the December Archives on the right hand side, towards the bottom on the main page).  Here are directions for making a matching box for these sparkling beauties.  Here’s what you’ll need:

card stock or Stampin’ Up!’s double-sided designer series paper

Sticky Strip

Scissors

Personal cutter/scorer

Ribbon or other embellishments as needed

tissue paper for inside of box

For the box: Cut paper 8 1/4 x 8/14 and score it up at 2 3/4″ all the way around.

Cut up the score lines on two opposite sides.  Add Sticky strip as shown (I’ve used white correction tape to show where the Sticky Strip should go for easier viewing).  Take the backing off the Sticky Strip and fold up the sides of the box.  Remember to “burnish” the Sticky Strip by rubbing your fingernail over it before you remove the backing.  Burnishing it makes it stick.  Also remember when folding the sides, the side without any Sticky Strip should be on the inside of the box.

For the lid: Cut paper 4 13/16 x 4 13/16 and score all the way around at 1″. Cut up the score lines on two opposite sides and add Sticky Strip

I watched the videos and realized how to do a shaker card. Pretty cool. The bubble wrap card is so much fun. The blue really stands out in each card. I like your videos. You get right to the card instructions. Great creative ideas. -D Welch
