The Big Shot cuts through bubble wrap! How cool is that! What a great way to upcycle used packing material.
I created this birthday card for a friend who loves butterflies (well who doesn’t like butterflies?!)
I used my Big shot and Beautiful Butterflies die. I cut out two butterflies; one out of bubble wrap and the other out of the Presto Patterns Designer Series paper. It is hard to see on the photo, but I ran a yellow marker over the bubble wrap, then added Crystal Effects to each bubble. The background butterfly is cut out of Presto Patterns Designer Series Paper brayered with Pumpkin Pie ink. I used dimensionals to layer the two butterflies. I then added a cut piece of the DSP for the body to hide the dimensionals which showed through the bubble wrap. I used my Color Spritzer Tool and a chocolate chip marker to add the speckles on the matting.
I love the dimension of the bubble wrap.
