Stamping With Blue Moon Creations

Serene Silhouettes-Song in My Heart OLW Challenge

“Song in My Heart” is this week’s challenge over at One Layer Wednesday.

Here’s my contribution:

Serene Silhouettes 027

For this card, I used my Music Notes wheel for the emboss resist technique.  I first created a mask, placing it on my glossy white card base.  I stamped the birds using Basic Black ink and then walked away to let it dry.  This is the hardest part for me.  But I know if I don’t just leave it alone to let it dry, I will end up with smudges 🙁

I then ran the Music Notes wheel over the masked image using Versamark and heat embossed it using clear embossing powder.  Then, I sponged on some Pretty in Pink, Marina Mist and Baja Breeze ink.  I removed the masked, buffed it with a paper towel and then stamped my greeting.

I watched the videos and realized how to do a shaker card. Pretty cool. The bubble wrap card is so much fun. The blue really stands out in each card. I like your videos. You get right to the card instructions. Great creative ideas. -D Welch
