Stamping With Blue Moon Creations

Horse Frontier-Masking Technique

“Free” is our cue word this week over at the CASology challenge site.

Here’s my contribution:

Horse Frontier 033

This card was inspired by our neighbor’s 5 horses who live in the pasture across from our house.  Recently, I noticed they were running, bucking and kicking, obviously feeling good and “free” on a cool evening.  What an awesome site!

For this card, I created a mask out of copy paper using my Big Shot and Apothecary Framelit.  I placed the mask on a piece of glossy white card stock, using Dotto as temporary adhesive to keep it in place.  I then stamped the horse in Versamark and heat embossed using Early Espresso embossing powder.  Then, I sponged on some  Pear Pizazz and Marina Mist to create the background.  I removed the mask and pierced around the image using my Paper Piercing Tool, Mat and Essentials piercing template.
