“Paper” is our cue word over at CASology this week. Wow, that simple word could conjure up so many options for paper crafters, right? I decided I wanted to create a simple Iris Folded card. Iris Folding is one of my favorite paper crafting techniques. What better way to celebrate paper!
For more information and an instructional video on Iris Folding, please visit my Iris Folding page HERE.
I started with a very simple Iris Folding square pattern I found on Splitcoaststampers. I have used this pattern many times because of its simplicity. Only 2 segments, but it makes quite a statement. Because of the size of the elephant image, I needed the “iris” to be larger than the original pattern. So, I enlarged it to 150% before printing it out.
I also wanted to share the new Envelope Liner Framelits from Stampin’ Up! These are so cool and are now my favorite accessory. What a great way to coordinate the card and the envelope!
How to use: Cut the liner out of a coordinating scrap piece of paper using the Big Shot and Envelope Line Framelit. Add a little adhesive to the back side of the liner and slip into the envelope.
