We have a pretty color challenge this week over at the Nacho Average challenge site:
Early Espresso, Melon Mambo and Marina Mist
Here’s my contribution:
These are not your traditional Christmas colors, but I really like how this color combination looks for a winter-themed card.
I started by cutting out a circle from my Marina Mist card base using a circles framelit and the Big Shot. I made a Melon Mambo frame for the circle by nesting 2 circle framelits and cutting them out using the Big Shot. Three snowflakes from Festive Flurry were stamped in the challenge colors and cut out using the coordinating framelits and Big Shot, then layered one on top of the other using Dimensionals. They were then hung from the card base circle using Early Espresso 1/8″ Taffeta ribbon secured with Mini Glue Dots, one at the top of the card base, the other at the top of the layered snowflakes. A bow was added to cover up the top. I added a rhinestone for a little bit of bling, stamped the greeting and done!
Don’t forget to include a coordinating envelope using the Big Shot and Envelope Liner Framelit!
