For this card, I used one of my all-time favorite stamping techniques: clear block stamping.
I tapped Marina Mist, Island Indigo and Cucumber Crush inks onto my clear block “H”. I lightly spritzed the block with water so the ink would pool and then stamped the block onto my Whisper White card front. I let the block sit for a few seconds, then lifted it up and voila, I had a pretty watercolor background.
I let the ink dry and then stamped the trees from Lovely as a Tree over the background using Soft Suede ink.
For a little shimmer (hard to see in the photo), I brushed on some clear Wink of Stella.
The greeting is from Holiday and Wishes which is retired. I kept the set and use it often as I really like the simple happy birthday.
