Here is another couple of Blast from the Past cards featuring the retiring stamp set In the Meadow and the Reflection Masking Technique.

In the Meadow Reflection Technique

For the card above, after creating the sky and water by sponging Marina Mist, Island Indigo, and Pool Party inks, I stamped and colored in the main images of the deer, trees, and grass. To create the reflections, I inked up each stamp with Basic Gray Archival ink.  I off-stamped the images onto my work paper, turned the stamps upside down and stamped, lining the bottom of the stamps up with the bottom of the original stamped images.

The deer were stamped using Early Espresso ink, then colored in using a blender pen and Crumb Cake ink.  The landscape is the from the stamp set Sheltering Tree stamped full strength and off stamped using Old Olive ink.
