Tri-Fold Snow Globe Card Inside
Recently, I saw this idea online to create a tri-fold card using the Still Scenes stamp set and coordinating Snow Globe Scenes Die.
Unfortunately, I don’t remember who I got the idea from.
As things usually happen, I see an idea, then try to recreate it from memory.
Sometimes that doesn’t work, but in this case, it did!
It was actually pretty simple once I figured out how I was going to make the tri-fold.
I simply cut 2 card bases. The first is a regular-sized card base measuring 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″.
The second measures 5 1/4″ x 4″.
Once all the stamping and decorating were done, I simply glued the smaller base inside the larger base.
Easy, Easy!
For the inside of the snow globe, I stamped the outline image from Still Scenes on the starry designed piece of Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper using Night of Navy ink. Then, I cut it out using the coordinating Snow Globe Scenes Die.
The deer and the snow globe base overlay were cut out of Gold Glimmer paper. The trees were cut out of Pretty Peacock Foil paper.
All images except for the snow flakes were stamped using the Stamparatus.
