Stamping With Blue Moon Creations

Mountain Air Paper Towel Background

Purple Mountains Majesty Paper Towel Background

Mountain air paper towel background

I used the paper towel I had used to blot the Pigment Sprinkles on the two cards I shared HERE to create these Mountain Air background cards.

I often use the paper towels I use to blot watercolor or to clean off stamps.

There is always a great mix of colors with a cool texture of the paper towel.

It’s a great way to recycle and reuse!

I separated the plys of the paper towel.   This way, I can make two cards from one paper towel.

I attached the plys to a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock using SNAIL as my adhesive.

Once the paper towel is attached to a sturdy base, it is easy to cut it down to the size needed.

For the mountains on the first card, I stamped the detail side of the mountains found in Mountain Air onto a piece of Highland Heather card stock using Black Berry Bliss ink.

I stamped it again on another piece of Highland Heather card stock without reinking.

Then, I cut them out with the coordinating Majestic Mountain Die.

I cut  a thin strip of Highland Heather card stock and attached it to the first layer of mountains so there would be a straight edge at the bottom.

I then attached the two layers of mountains using Mini Dimensionals in between to pop up the first layer.  I added them to the paper towel card front, again using Mini Dimensionals to pop them up.

I stamped the birds from Mountain Air in Blackberry Bliss ink on the card front using the Stamparatus to get good stamped images.  I also used the Stamparatus to stamp the greeting from Itty Bitty Greetings in Blackberry Bliss ink.

The card front was matted to Blackberry Bliss, then attached to the Whisper White card base.

The second card is made the same except I changed the colors a little bit.

I stamped the first layer of mountains on Pool Party card stock using Blackberry Bliss ink.

I stamped the second layer of mountains on Whisper White card stock without reinking.

I stamped the third layer of mountains on Whisper White card stock using Blueberry Bushel ink.  I stamped the image on a scrap piece of paper, then stamped again without reinking.

I used Mini Dimensionals in between the layers to pop them up.
