Unfortunately, I needed to send out a sympathy card to the family of a neighbor who passed away recently.
The images in the Mountain Air stamp set and coordinating Majestic Mountain Dies are perfect for our setting here in the mountains of southern Colorado.
To create the mountain scene, I started with the background on watercolor paper using Pacific Point, Balmy Blue, Petal Pink, and Crushed Curry inks swiped on using an aqua painter.
I heat embossed the detail mountain image using white embossing powder on Night of Navy and Seaside Spray card stock for the first two layers of mountains. For the third layer, I stamped Blueberry Bushel ink on Whisper White card stock.
The treeline and landscape were embossed on Garden Green card stock.
The two trees were cut out of Mossy Meadow and Pear Pizzazz card stock and added to the front to give a little more dimension.
