Country Home with Basic Gray and Night of Navy Buffalo Check
Country Home with Mint Macaron and Smoky Slate Buffalo Check
Here are two more cards I created using the stamp set Country Home.
For these, I paired them with the background stamp, Buffalo Check.
To create the background, I used the Stamparatus to get a good stamped image.
Buffalo Check is a large background stamp, and getting a good inking the first time around can be a challenge.
It’s easy though when using the Stamparatus. Load it up on a plate, ink, stamp, and repeat as necessary.
Then, I added more lines by placing a ruler on the image and drawing lines using Stampin’ Write Markers.
I used Night of Navy for the first card, and Smoky Slate for the second.
I cut a square out of the middle of each background using my Big Shot and the Layering Squares Dies. I matted them with coordinating cardstock, then added them back into the background using Mini Dimensionals to pop them up.
I colored the vase, milk jug and flowers from Country Home using a variety of Stampin’ Blends and fussy cut them out using a pair of scissors.
They were added to the card front using Dimensionals to pop them up.
The greeting on the first card is from Blossoms in Bloom.
I added Metallic Pearls to complete.
