Tie-Dye Christmas OrnamentsBermuda Bay and Melon Mambo

Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo
Because of the flurry of Christmas card making over the past several days, my crafting table is full of stuff; stamps, ink, ribbon, glimmer dots….
I’m sure you can relate!
One of the items I put to the side was the paper towel that I used to blot watercolors from a few of my projects. The colors were so vibrant and pretty, and I knew I wanted to use the paper towel to create tie-dyed Christmas ornaments.
This is a simple project and it’s a great way to recycle and reuse.

- Smooth out the paper towel and separate the plys. You will be able to make double the ornaments using both plys.
- Attach paper towel to card stock background using Stampin’ Seal, Tombow Glue, or the like. By securing the paper towel to a card stock background, you will be able to easily punch out the ornaments or trim them down for other projects.
- Punch ornaments using the Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack.
- Attach to Shimmery White card front using Dimensionals to pop them up.
- Stamp greeting from Festive Post. I used the Stamparatus.
- Attach to mat, then to card base.
- For these cards, I used retired baker’s twine and enamel dots from my stash to complete.
