This sparkly puzzle card is my 2nd test project.
If you remember, I recently talked about the issues a customer had with one of the Many Layered Blossoms Dies.
When she received her order, she discovered that she was having trouble removing card stock from the big detailed die.
Long story short, I contacted Stampin’ Up!, and they immediately replaced the die set.
The replacement came to me, and with her permission, I tried each of the dies to make sure there weren’t any issues.
I figured I’d cut the pieces out of the Rainbow Glimmer paper since it is a heavier weight of paper, and can sometimes be difficult to cut out dies, especially the intricate ones.
Well, I had success with the first try of cutting the glimmer paper using the solid-designed die.

So far so good!
This is the second card I made using the detailed die. This is the one she had issues with.
I had absolutely no issues using the die to cut either the Rainbow Glimmer or Basic Black card stock. Both pieces were easily removed from the die.
Sometimes there is an issue with a Stampin’ Up! product.
But, please remember, if you have ANY issues with a Stampin’ Up! product you have purchased, please let your Demonstrator know as soon as possible.
All it takes is a quick call to Stampin’ Up!
They will replace the defective product immediately.
This story has a happy ending!
Now onto the puzzle card!
Creating the puzzle card was a little time consuming, but easy.
Here’s How:
1.Cut two images using the solid image die. One is cut out of Rainbow Glimmer Paper, the second out of Basic Black card stock.
2. Remove all the pieces and bits from the Basic Black cut-out. You will be using the outline as the frame for your puzzle piece. For this card, I did not remove the little bits from the centers of each of the flowers. They are tiny, and if you lose one or two, you can color in the empty space with a fine-tip Sharpie. Or, you can insert them back into the image with a little glue using a pair of tweezers or the Take Your Pick Tool.
3. Try to keep the Rainbow Glimmer pieces in the die for now. You will remove each piece, one by one, piecing them back into the Basic Black frame.
4. Place a small pool of Multi-purpose Glue on a Silicone Craft Mat. With a sponge, pick some glue and lightly dab on the back of the Basic Black border. Attach to So Saffron card base. Or, use a piece of double-backed Adhesive Sheets.
5. Add the flower petals one by one back into the border using Multi-purpose Glue to adhere. Just like working a puzzle. Keep the shapes and colors in mind as you piece together the pieces. On this card, the pieces are not popped up, but you certainly could using Mini Dimensionals.
6. Add a greeting if desired. I decided not to add the greeting just yet. We’ll see what occasion I might need it for first. Add Matte Black Dots to complete.
Be sure to keep the Rainbow Glimmer frame to use in another project.
