Create your own Designer Paper!
It’s easy to do, and possibilities are endless!
For this card, I created my own designer paper using 3 colors of inks and 4 images from the stamp set Snowflake Wishes.
Once done, I then added some sparkly snowflakes made using the new Glimmer Ombre Paper.

Not only do these specialty papers glimmer in fun bright colors, they also have an ombre effect (the colors gently blend from light to dark) so be sure to show off the cascading tones of color in your projects!
Product colors: Gorgeous Grape, Mango Melody, Night of Navy, Poppy Parade (4-12″x12″ sheets, 1 of each color)
Here’s How:
- To create your own designer paper: choose 3 or 4 images and 3 or 4 ink colors. Use images from the same stamp set or mix it up with other images. Stamp images, one at a time. For this card, I used Night of Navy, Pacific Point and Gorgeous Grape ink for the 3 different snowflakes. Then, I filled in the blank spots with the cluster of snowflakes image using Balmy Blue ink.
TIP: When stamping the main images, stamp in a triangle: top, 2 sides. Move down along the card stock.
TIP: Leave enough space in between images to stamp the smaller image to fill blank spaces. Or, start by stamping the small image first, then stamp the larger images around it.
- Cut 2 snowflakes out of Ombre Specialty Paper using die-cut machine and So Many Snowflakes dies. Layer one on top of the other using a Mini Dimensional in between.
- Attach card front to Night of Navy mat. Attach to Basic White card base.
- Attach strip of Ombre Specialty Paper to card front. Attach snowflakes using a Mini Dimensional to pop it up.
- Punch scallop circle out of Night of Navy card stock. Attach to center of snowflake. Attach Glimmer dot. Stamp greeting” May Your Season Sparkle” on the inside using Gorgeous Grape ink.
