Floating Strips Stencil Card
Remember my Floating Strips card here?
After punching out the Floating Strips circle, I was left with this piece.
This was too good of a piece to just throw away.
So, I decided to incorporate it into a Floating Strips Stencil Card!
Here’s How:
- Cut a piece for inside the circle. I used the Meadows die and my die-cut machine for this card to cut a flower out of watercolor paper. I lightly sponged on Mango Melody, Calypso Coral, and Crushed Curry inks. Then, I over-stamped using the speckles stamp from Quiet Meadow in Calypso Coral. This piece is actually a scrap left over from another project. Another great way to use up paper scraps!
- Cut a piece of Basic Black card stock to match the stencil piece.
- Attach the flower to the center of the Basic Black card stock.
- Add the stencil piece using Dimensionals to pop it up. Add the Dimensionals to the back of the strips, so they don’t show through the window sheet.
- Stamp greeting. I used a greeting from Pansy Petals using Memento Black ink for this card.
- Attach embellishments to complete.
Done!
