Design a Treat Bats
for Halloween
Happy Halloween!
Use the Design a Treat Dies from Stampin’ Up! to create easy candy or treat boxes for Halloween.
Here’s How:
- Die-cut box out of Lights Aglow Designer Series Paper using a die-cut machine and Design a Treat Dies.
- Fold along the score lines using a bone folder to get crisp score lines. Everything folds in except for the half-round tabs at the top. They fold out.
- Fold in sides and adhere using Tombow Liquid Glue. Hold sides together for a minute or two, allowing the glue to dry.
- Fill the box with candy or treats. Secure the top, folding the sides and bringing up the half circles through the slots.
- Die-cut bats out of black glimmer or Basic Black card stock using the bat die. Die-cut labels out of gold foil paper, Basic Gray card stock, and numbers out of Basic Black card stock. Stamp the “for you” greeting on one label using Memento Black ink. Attach numbers to the second label using a small amount of Liquid Glue.
- Attach labels to the front of boxes using Liquid Glue.
- Add Metallic and Gold dots to the bats for eyes. Apply a small amount of Liquid Glue to one of the half-round tabs and attach the bats to complete.
