Coloring with Stampin’ Blends
It’s easy to add color to black-and-white designer paper using the alcohol-based Blends from Stampin’ Up!
While this black and white leaf design found in the Rustic Harvest paper pack is beautiful and dramatic, adding color using Blends makes it pop.
Here’s How:
- Cut a piece of designer paper to the size needed for your project.
- Color the images using a variety of Stampin’ Blends. For this project, I used Cherry Cobbler, Poppy Parade, Highland Heather, Mint Macaron, Granny Apple Green, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, and Bronze Blends.
- Attach to a Basic Black mat and Basic White card base.
- Stamp the greeting on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock. I used Flora and Fauna (Paper Pumpkin) stamped in Memento Black ink for this project. Attach to Cherry Cobbler mat, then attach it to the card front using Dimensionals to pop it up. Add Black Matte dots to complete.
That’s it!
So easy, and the possibilities are endless!
