Construction Zone Birthday Card
for our grandson who is turning 4!
Ryan loves anything mechanical-cars, trucks, construction vehicles, planes, and trains.
Anything that has wheels and moves!
I knew I had to purchase the Construction Zone stamp set found in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog just for Ryan!
He turns 4 this month, and here is birthday card for the big celebration!
I was scrolling through Pinterest looking for ideas, and this one came up.
Perfect!
There isn’t an artist’s name attached to the Pin, so I can’t give credit.
Here’s How to create this Construction Zone Birthday Card:
1.Tear a piece of Crumb Cake card stock to create the dirt. Stamp speckles image from Oceanfront using Crumb Cake ink. Sponge Crumb Cake ink along the edges. Stamp greeting using Memento Black ink.
2.Stamp crane, fork lift, construction worker, and balloons using Memento Black ink. I used my Stamparatus to get really dark images. Color using Stampin’ Blends or Stampin’ Write Markers.
3.I used my Canva program to create the #4. I printed it out on computer paper, then punched using my 3/4″ circle.
4.Assemble card:
-Attach Crumb Cake to Basic Black mat. Attach to Crushed Curry card base.
-Attach crane, forklift, construction worker, balloons, and #4 using Mini Dimensionals to pop them up.
5. Add Black Matte Dots to complete.
Done!
I know Ryan will like his Construction Zone birthday card!
