Happy Birthday Window Sheet Card

Happy Birthday Window Sheet Card

Happy Birthday to my husband!

We just returned from a quick trip to Yellowstone National Park.

Another great adventure in our almost 30 years together!

Paper Measurements:

Basic White Card Base: 1 piece 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and 3 3/4″ x 5″ insert

Copper Clay card base: 4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″.  Lay flat and cut bottom off one side at 7 1/4″, leaving 2″.

Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper: 4 pieces-2″ x 4″ (2 for outside, and 2 for inside).  Emboss using die-cut machine and Metal Plate Embossing Folder.

Window Sheet: 4 ” x 5 1/8″

Here’s How to Create the Happy Birthday Window Sheet Card

1.Score Copper Clay card base at 5 1/2″.  Lay flat and cut bottom off one side at 7 1/4″.  Discard cut-off or use for another project.

2.Attach Window Sheet to inside of the cut card base.

3.Emboss 4 pieces of the Copper Clay solid design from Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper.  Attach 1 piece to the outside top of the window sheet, and another to the outside bottom.  Flip the card open, and attach another piece to the inside top of the window sheet, and another to the inside bottom.  This will cover up the backside of the DSP which has a blue background and white flowers.  Not quite the color scheme of this card!

4. Attach Copper Clay card base to single Basic White base.

5. Attach the Basic White insert to the inside of the card base.  Stamp greeting from Circle Sayings using Copper Clay ink so it shows through the window.

6. Stamp image from He’s All That on Basic White card stock using Copper Clay ink.  Punch using 1 3/4″ circle punch. Stamp another image on scrap Basic White and fussy cut the compass star using scissors.

7. Attach the punched image on the card front using Dimensionals on the top and bottom.  Place them so they don’t show through the window on the inside.  Attach the cut star on the inside.

8. Attach Copper Clay Dots on the front and inside of the card to complete.
