Stitched Trees Card
A different take on the Split Circle Technique, this card features stitched trees and water, for an easy masculine-themed card.
I saw this idea from Karen Titus, and I knew it would be perfect as a birthday card for our friend and neighbor, Jack.
Jack is a retired Department of Wildlife Officer, and loves the outdoors: mountains and water both!
This design combines both arenas, perfect for an outdoorsy kind of guy!
Here’s How:
1.Die-cut 3 triangles: small, medium, and large out of Old Olive, Shaded Spruce and Mossy Meadow card stock using Stitched Triangle Dies.
2.Die-cut 3 circles: small, medium, and large out of Pool Party, Lost Lagoon, and Night of Navy card stock using Stitched Shaped Dies. Cut the circles in half and use the remaining circles for another project.
3.Attach triangles and circles to Basic White card stock, leaving space in between the bottom of the triangles and the top of the circles.
4.Attach a 1/4″ wide strip of Copper Clay card stock covering the space.
5.Stamp greeting from Circle Sayings using Copper Clay ink.
6.Attach card front to Copper Clay card base. Attach Tinsel Gems to complete.
Done and so easy!
