Deckled Circles Pumpkin Box

Deckled Circles Pumpkin Box

Deckled Circles Pumpkin Box

Perfect for holding candy or other treats, just in time for Halloween!

Or, it could be used as a table decoration for the Thanksgiving table!

The possibilities are endless!

The box is an easy pattern with simple scoring and assembly.

The pumpkin is made with a mix of Them Bones Designer Paper cut out using a Deckled Circle Die, then paired with the fall harvest image from the Rustic Crate Bundle.

Deckled Circles Pumpkin Box How To:

1. Create Box:
-Pumpkin Pie card stock:
5 1/2” x 7”, score on the 7” side at 2 3/4” and 4 1/4”
Score on the 5 1/2” side at 1 1/2” and 4”
-Fold along the score lines using a bone folder to get crisp score lines
-Cut the bottom and top small center score lines up to the center score lines. Cut a “V” shape for easy folding.
-Fold along the score lines, creating the box. Add Tombow Liquid Glue to the small flaps and fold in. Add Tombow Liquid Glue to larger flaps and fold to form the box.

2. Die-cut 2 circles out of Them Bones DSP using Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and Deckled Circle Die. Attach to the front and back of the box.
3. Stamp image from Rustic Crate on Basic White card stock using Memento Black ink. Color using a combination of Stampin’ Blends and Stampin’ Markers. Die-cut using coordinating Rustic Crate Die. Attach to front of box.

4. Create a stem for the pumpkin out of Cajun Craze card stock. You can cut free-hand or use a punch or die. I used the banner die from the retired Mini Treat Thinlits Dies for this card. Attach to the back of the front circle.
5. Die-cut “hello” out of Basic White and Cajun Craze card stock using Rustic Crate Die. Layer using Tombow Liquid Glue, offsetting them slightly. Attach to the front circle.

6. Create the tendrils by cutting 1/8” wide strips of Garden Green card stock. Curl the ends with scissors and attach to the back of the circle.

7. Add candies or other treats to complete.
