Sip, Recycle, Craft with Aluminum Cans
I’ve shared many of the cards I have created over the years using beer or soda aluminum cans.
My husband drinks a variety of craft beers, and I’m always confiscating the cans afterward.
I cut the cans down and use the fun and colorful labels to create cards.
It’s good to recycle and reuse, plus they make great masculine-themed cards!
I created an anniversary card for my husband using this can of Colorado State of Mind Citrus India Pale Ale from Eddyline Brewery in Buena Vista, CO.
Actually, the label for this can is a vinyl sheet that can easily be removed so there isn’t any need to cut down the can.
Many of the craft beers my husband purchases have this new type of label, making it so much easier for creating a card.
I simply removed the label and then attached it to a piece of card stock so I could cut it down to the size I needed.
Then, I matted it to a piece of Basic Black card stock and attached to a Basic White card base.
The greeting comes from the retired stamp set, Celebrating You.

Take a look at beer and soda cans for their interesting and unique labels.
I guarantee, you’ll never look at an aluminum can the same way again!
