Country Woods Inspirational Sketches
For this card, I paired the “cottage core**” stamp set Inspirational Sketches with Country Woods Designer Series Paper.
**”Cottagecore is an aesthetic that celebrates simple living, particularly in the countryside. It encourages a lifestyle rooted in traditional skills—like baking bread, gardening, and sewing your own clothes.”
I had never heard of the term Cottagecore before until recently.

Once I knew about it, I actually heard it referenced on an episode of the Great American Baking Show!
Anyway, I guess I like the Cottagecore look as I was really drawn to the stamp set Inspirational Sketches.
Country Woods Inspirational Sketches How-to:
1.Stamp flowers from Inspirational Sketches on a piece of Basic White card stock using Misty Moonlight ink.
2. Create a palette of Wild Wheat ink by closing the ink pad and squeezing the top with your thumbs. The ink from the pad will transfer to the inside of the lid, creating an ink palette. Pick up the ink and color the center of the flowers using a Blender Pen. You could also use a Water Painter.
3. Die-cut using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and circle from Everyday Details Die. Attach to a Wild Wheat 2 1/2″ circle.
4. Die-cut the large circle from the Everyday Details die set out of Misty Moonlight card stock. Layer the 3 circles.
5.Stamp greeting from Simply Zinnias on a piece of Country Woods Designer Series Paper using Misty Moonlight ink.
6. Attach DSP to Misty Moonlight card base. Attach matted flowers to complete!
