Full Moon Rising-Under the Moon

Full Moon Rising-Under the Moon

Here’s an easy card to create using the new stamp set, Under the Moon, from Stampin’ Up!

A nighttime, full moon seascape!

It involves a little ink blending and heat embossing.

Full Moon Rising-Under the Moon How To:

1. Stamp moon image from Under the Moon on Smoky Slate card stock using Versamark.  Heat emboss using white embossing powder.  Punch or die-cut using a circle punch or die.  I used my 2 1/4″ circle punch. Attach to 2 3/8″ Silver Foil mat.

2. Add color to Basic White card front using a Blending Brush and Balmy Blue ink.  Make the color as light or dark as you want.

3. Stamp clouds on card front using Smoky Slate ink.

4. Stamp water using Misty Moonlight and Azure Afternoon inks.

5. Attach card front to Misty Moonlight Base.  Attach to Basic White card base.

6. Attach matted moon using Mini Dimensionals to pop it up

7. Add color to a scrap piece of Basic White card stock using a Blending Brush and Balmy Blue ink. Stamp sail boat using Smoky Slate ink.  Fussy cut the sail boat and attach to card front using Mini Dimensionals to pop it up.

8. Add color to a scrap piece of Basic White card stock using a Blending Brush and Balmy Blue ink.  Stamp greeting from Simply Zinnias using Misty Moonlight ink.  Fussy cut the greeting and attach to card front using Mini Dimensionals to pop it up.
