Stamping With Blue Moon Creations

Leaf Collection Emboss Resist

Leaf Collection Emboss Resist

The Emboss Resist Technique is an easy way to make your stamped images pop!

I paired the technique with the Leaf Collection background stamp.

The color possibilities are endless!

Emboss Resist Leaf Collection How-to:

1.Stamp Leaf Collection using Versamark ink on Basic White card front.  This is a large stamp, so you may want to use a stamp positioning tool so you can ink and stamp as many times as needed to get a good stamped image.  I used my Stamparatus.

2.Sprinkle white embossing powder of the image and heat emboss using a heat tool.

3.With Blending Brushes, Sponge Daubers, or sponges, add ink to the embossed image.  I used Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry inks for this card.  Add as much color as desired.  When satisfied, buff the ink off the embossed image making it really pop.

4. Use the entire piece as your card front or cut it down to use in several projects.  I cut it into pieces using my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and a Perennial Postage Die.  (you can see what else I created using this embossed piece HERE) Attach to Early Espresso matting.

5.Dry emboss Basic White card front using an embossing folder.  I used the retired Timeworn Script Embossing Folder for this card.  Stamp greeting on card front.  I used the retired Pansy Patch stamp set stamped in Early Espresso ink.  Attach to Early Espresso card base.

6.Attach embossed image to card front.  Add embellishments to complete.  I used cork rounds for this card.
