Valentine’s Day Card with a Paper Towel Background
Recycle and reuse!
I incorporate paper towels I use to clean stamps and blot watercolors in my crafting, adding interesting colors and texture to my projects.
For instance, this paper towel used for a flurry of Valentine’s Day crafting with pinks, purples, and a touch of gold.
Let’s see what I can make with it!
First I cut it in half, then attached the 2 pieces to card stock so they could easily be trimmed down.
I die-cut a heart out of Blackberry Bliss card stock to lay over the first paper towel.
The hardest part was deciding the placement of the heart!
To pop it up, I added Tear and Tape adhesive along the edges on the back side of the heart, then removed the backing and placed it on the paper towel, trimming the edges as needed.
Added a greeting, attached to a card base, and added some embellishments to complete.
Done!
