Nature’s Sweetness Country Birdhouse

Nature’s Sweetness Country Birdhouse

Natures Sweetness Country Birdhouse

This is the card I created for my stepmother’s 90th birthday!

She did not want ANY gifts, so my husband and I honored her wishes.

Instead, I thought I’d make her an extra special card for her birthday using Country Birdhouse combined with the pretty Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper.

She has several bird feeders on their deck, so I knew she’d appreciate this sweet birdhouse card.

How To:

  1. Die-cut birdhouse and roof pieces out of Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper and Pecan Pie card stock  using Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and Country Birdhouse dies.
  2. Cut flowers, leaves, and bow out of Basic White, Pecan Pie, and Gold Foil card stock.
  3. Stamp bird on Basic White using Versamark ink.   Heat emboss using gold embossing folder.  Color wing and tail using Pecan Pie ink and a Blender Pen.
  4. Attach Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper to Gold Foil mat.  Attach to Basic White card base.
  5. Build birdhouse on card front.  Attach flowers and leaves using Mini Dimensionals to pop them up.  Add bow to top of bird house.  Add bird using a Mini Dimensional to pop it up.
  6. Add metallic gemstones to the center of the bow and to the flower centers to complete.
