Here’s a fun and easy card and matching envelope idea, perfect for Valentine’s Day!
I used the Sending Love stamp set with the coordinating Sending Love Dies for this card.
Then, paired it with some retired Bee Mine DSP to create a matching envelope.

For the card:
-Create a simple background on the card front by using the Direct to Paper method: swipe Balmy Blue ink pad along the front and edges of the Basic White card front.
-Die-cut the pieces for the mailbox: post out of Basic Black, mailbox out of Petal Pink, flag out of Real Red.
-Stamp “Mail” on the mailbox using Real Red ink. Attach the flag by inserting a brad through the holes in the flag and mailbox.
-Fold the mailbox along the score line, securing the bottom edge using adhesive. I originally used Tear and Tape Adhesive along the bottom edge, but decided it added too much bulk. So, I removed the tape and secured the edge using regular adhesive.
-Die-cut the envelope out of DSP. Fold along the score lines and secure the flaps using adhesive.
-Die-cut grass out of Lemon Lime Twist and Soft Sea Foam card stock.
-Assemble the mailbox on the card front. Start with the post, then add the mailbox, envelope, and grass. I popped up the post and mailbox using Mini Dimensionals.
-Attach to Real Red card base. Die-cut hearts out of Real Red and Petal Pink card stock and attach to complete.
For the envelope:
For the envelope, I used the retired Envelope Punch Board from Stampin’ Up! Since I have a full crate of retired designer paper, I often make my envelopes as a way to use up the paper.
I figured out the size of the envelope I needed, then followed the instructions on the Punch Board, cutting the paper to size, then scoring using the guide marks Board’s base.
