Upcycle-Cheerful Daisies Paper Towel Magic
Don’t toss those used paper towels just yet—turn them into a unique card-making element!
Paper towels used for cleaning stamps or blotting watercolors can add unexpected textures and beautiful blends of color.
For this project, I upcycled one of my colorful paper towels and paired it with the Cheerful Daisies stamp set to create a fresh, spring-themed birthday card.
The soft, tie-dyed look from the paper towel background perfectly complements the delicate floral design.
It’s a fun and creative way to add dimension while embracing an eco-friendly crafting approach!

Upcycle-Cheerful Daisies Paper Towel Magic How To:
1. Separate the plys of the paper towel, leaving you with 2 pieces to craft with.
2. Attach one of the plys to a piece of card stock, allowing you to easily trim the paper towel down to the size you need.
3. Cut the paper towel into 3-1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ squares.
4. Stamp daisy image from Cheerful Daisy stamp set on each square using Blackberry Bliss ink.
Tip: because of the texture of the paper towel, you may not get a good stamped image on the first try. Instead, use a stamp positioning tool so you can stamp the image as many times as needed to get a good stamped image. I used my Stamparatus.
5. Attach the squares to a Blackberry Bliss mat. Attach to Basic White card front.
6. Stamp greeting from Cheerful Daisies using Blackberry Bliss ink.
7. Attach to Fresh Freesia mat, then attach to Blackberry Bliss card base.
8. Add purple gems to complete.
Done!
The possibilities are endless!
