Cookie Cutter Hearts For CAS Challenge

Cookie Cutter Hearts for CAS Challenge

It’s been a while since I joined an online card-making challenge, but I’m excited to dive back in!

The CAS on Sunday challenge, recommended by my amazing Upline, Tammy Fite, is the perfect way to get inspired.

I’ve always loved the “clean and simple” style—lots of white space, minimal layers, and a fresh, uncluttered look.

So, here is my entry to the CAS on Sunday Challenge #302, Valentine

For this card, I placed a strip of washi tape along a piece of watercolor paper to create a mask.

Then, I used a heart-shaped cookie cutter as my stamp.  I inked up the cookie cutter on an ink pad, then stamped it 3 times over the mask.

To add color, I blended ink inside each of the hearts using a water painter’s brush.

For an added pop, I brushed Gold Metallic Enamel Effects on the cookie cutter, then stamped over each heart.

Remove the mask, and add a greeting and some embellishments to complete.

Done!

This was fun, and I look forward to participating in future challenges!
