Blueberry Bunches No Line Watercoloring
A new technique for me!
Blueberry Bunches No Line Watercoloring How To:
1.Stamp your image on watercolor paper with a light ink, like Smoky Slate, so it fades under the watercolor. Other inks you could use would be Crumb Cake, or Basic Beige.
2.Press a closed ink pad to transfer ink to the lid—this becomes your palette.
3.Use a water painter or wet brush to pick up ink and color the image, letting layers dry between applications to prevent bleeding.
I used Bojo Blue, Misty Moonlight, Balmy Blue, Gorgeous Grape, Old Olive and Garden Green inks.
4.Stamp a greeting in Night of Navy ink, then create a soft background by tapping Balmy Blue and Afternoon Azure inks onto a clear block “F”, spritzing with water, and stamping over the image, letting it sit for a few seconds, then lift and set aside to dry.
5.Once dry, attach to a Night of Navy card base and add rhinestones for a finishing touch.
I loved how the blueberries turned out, but shading the leaves was tricky as you can still see the lines in the image—I’ll keep practicing!
