Quick Paper Bag Bunny Craft!
Easter is just around the corner, and it’s one of my favorite holidays to get crafty!
This fun and easy project turns simple paper or gift bags into adorable Easter bunny gift bags.
I personalized each bunny to match the recipient — a spring theme for my mom and daughter-in-law, a blue bunny for our granddaughter, a soccer bunny for our grandson, and a masculine, woodsy bunny for our son.
I used the retired Playful Pals stamp set, coordinating dies, and scrap designer paper, but you can easily customize yours with patterned bags, embellishments, or even hand-drawn faces.
The possibilities are endless!

Quick Paper Bag Bunny Craft How To:
-
Start with a Bag
Choose a paper or gift bag you love! I used mini brown paper bags (a 12-pack from my local craft store). -
Shape the Bunny
Fold the bag closed, then lightly sketch the ears and head with a pencil. Not confident in your drawing skills? No worries — I downloaded a bunny template online and traced it! -
Cut It Out
Carefully cut along your pencil lines to shape your bunny. -
Get Creative and Decorate
- I fussy cut ears from patterned designer papers to match the theme for each bunny.
- I stamped, colored, and die-cut the eyes, nose, feet, and tails using the Playful Pals stamp set and coordinating dies (an oldie but goodie!).
- I stamped on whiskers and a mouth with matching inks.
- Then, I glued everything in place, using Dimensionals to pop up the feet for a little extra cuteness.
- Fill and Finish
Add Easter grass, candy, small toys, or trinkets inside each bag, and your adorable bunny is ready to hop into someone’s heart!
Done!
