Smiles Across the Miles Mountain Landscape
Here’s a quick and easy watercolor background technique to elevate your cardmaking.
Create an abstract sky wash by tapping Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, and Pumpkin Pie inks onto Clear Block “F,” then lightly spritzing with water to let the colors pool and blend.
Stamp the block onto a Basic White card front, allow the inks to settle for a few seconds, and then lift to reveal the soft watercolor effect.
Once the background dries, add tree die-cuts from the Lights of Aurora Dies to build a bold silhouette scene.
Mount the panel to a coordinating mat and adhere it to a Basic White card base for a clean, simple finish.
I completed the card with a Memento Black sentiment from the retired Sending Smiles stamp set.
