Over the last few posts, I’ve been sharing cards created from leftover paper scraps.

If you missed them, you can take a look at A Creative Pivot From Christmas to Valentine’s Day and Peaceful Garden Iris Folded Heart for a little inspiration.

I used the last of my Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper scraps to create these cards, making the most of every ½” strip.

The first card features a Lasting Linen background paired with a wooden heart from my stash, softly inked with Secret Sea. The sentiment comes from the long-retired Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, still one of my all-time favorites.

The second card highlights a greeting from Encircled with Love, punched with the 1⅞” Circle Punch for a clean, finished look.

For this card, I paired 1/2″ wide strips of Lights of Aurora Designer Series Paper with the coordinating Lights of Aurora dies to create a soft, night-time aurora borealis effect.

I also embossed the card front using Softly Sophisticated embossing folder to create the stitching for a Faux Quilt look.

It’s always satisfying to turn small leftovers into something thoughtful and complete—proof that no scrap needs to go to waste.
