Let the Color Bloom: Watercolor Coneflower Cards

Let the Color Bloom: Watercolor Coneflower Cards

I’ve been in a watercolor frame of mind lately, so the next few posts will feature a variety of watercolor background ideas.

These first two cards use one of my favorite techniques: acrylic block watercolor.

Simply dab ink onto a clear acrylic block, spritz it with water, and let the color pool and run. Then press the block onto watercolor paper or regular cardstock.

Let it sit for a few seconds before lifting it away.

The results are always a little different—and the color and design possibilities are endless!
