Untouched Landscapes Diorama Card

I’m excited to introduce the Untouched Landscapes stamp set—one of the newest releases from Stampin’ Up!

Untouched Landscapes Diorama Card How-to:
1. Create the Diorama Base
-Cut one piece of cardstock into 2 pieces measuring 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″.
-Score both pieces on the short sides at 1/2″ and 1″ from each end.
-On one piece (the front), cut a window using a die or punch. I used a circle die.
Tip: If you plan to stamp images on the panels, stamp first and score afterward to keep your images uninterrupted by score lines.
Also, I did not cut the center circle out until after the images were stamped. Instead, I traced the outline of the circle die on the top piece with a pencil, then stamped the images, using the traced circle as my guide.
-On the back (bottom) piece, stamp the sky in the center panel using Azure Afternoon.
-Stamp the mountains, landscape, and flowers on scrap Basic White cardstock using Mossy Meadow, Sea Foam Green, Crushed Curry, and Berry Burst. Fussy cut the images with scissors.
-Attach the images to the center panel using Dimensionals to add depth. Trim edges as needed to fit.
Note: Position your mountains slightly lower to ensure they remain visible through the window. If I did the card again, I would lower the mountains 🙂
2. Assemble the Diorama
-Fold both pieces along the score lines:
-
- Top piece: valley, mountain, mountain, valley
- Bottom piece: mountain, valley, valley, mountain
-Apply Tear & Tape Adhesive to the mountain fold on the bottom piece. Remove the backing and attach the top piece, aligning all edges carefully.
3. Finish the Card
-Add your greeting of choice. I used a sentiment from the retired Coneflower Celebrations set.
