Stamping With Blue Moon Creations

From Scraps to Scenery-Create a Mountain Landscape with Torn Paper

From Scraps to Scenery-Create a Mountain Landscape with Torn Paper

Turn a handful of paper scraps into a stunning mountain landscape!

For this card, I tore narrow strips of card stock and layered them to create the look of distant mountain ranges fading into the horizon.

The torn edges add natural texture and depth, making each scene unique.

To finish the design, I added a silhouette of evergreen trees die-cut with the Light and Wonder Dies and embossed a simple “hello” greeting across the foreground.

Not only is this technique quick and relaxing, but it’s also a wonderful way to use up leftover card stock while creating a peaceful nature-inspired card.
