Masked Landscape Color Dare #719

Masked Landscape Color Dare #719

Here are our colors for the Color Dare Challenge #719

Lost Lagoon, Pool Party, and Soft Sea Foam

Soft, soothing shades of blues and green and simple masking techniques come together to create this peaceful landscape card for Color Dare Challenge #719.

Using Lost Lagoon, Pool Party, and Soft Sea Foam, I blended layers of ink inside a circular mask to create the illusion of rolling hills fading into the distance.

Torn paper served as quick and easy masks, giving each horizon a naturally organic edge while adding depth to the scene.

To complete the design, I added crisp Basic White leaf die-cuts from the Opulent Oasis Dies and finished the card with a simple “Hello” greeting stamped in Lost Lagoon ink.

This relaxing technique is a wonderful way to create serene landscapes with just a few supplies and a little imagination.

I hope you’ll join in the fun!

Color challenges are a wonderful way to spark your creativity while encouraging you to experiment with color combinations you might not normally choose. Plus, they’re a great opportunity to see how other crafters interpret the same palette.

To participate, simply create your project, share it on your favorite social media platform—whether it’s your blog, Facebook, Instagram, or another site—and then link your creation on the Color Dare website. Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the creative process!

Finally, I’d love to see what you create!
