A Poetic Hello in Purple, Yellow & Green
My fabulous Upline, Tammy Fite, recently challenged us to create with Darling Duckling, Peaceful Pine, and Gorgeous Grape.
I paired these beautiful colors with Stampin’ Up!’s new Poetic Petals Dies for a quick and easy friendship card.
Since I don’t have Darling Duckling, I substituted Daffodil Delight, which worked beautifully for the challenge. I created the soft yellow background using the acrylic block technique—simply dabbing Daffodil Delight ink onto a clear block, spritzing it with water, and stamping it onto Basic White cardstock.
For the flowers and leaves, I cut the design twice: first from Peaceful Pine and then from Gorgeous Grape.
After snipping out the purple flowers, I attached them to the green die-cut with Dimensionals for a little extra dimension.
A few butterflies and yellow embellishments added the finishing touches, along with a friendly greeting from Opulent Oasis.
