This week’s One Layer Wednesday challenge is to feature “scoring” in a one layer card.
Here’s my contribution, inspired by the ripening apples on our apples trees!
Although it is hard to tell in the photo, there is a scored frame around the pickup truck on all 4 sides. Not as simple to do as it would seem. It took me a couple of tries to get
the scored frame right, but on the whole, I like how it came out.
The truck was colored using ink pads and blender pens.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Countryside, Sincere Salutations
Ink: Black Stazon, Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Wild Wasabi
Paper: Whisper White
Accessories: scoring tool, blender pends

I have this stamp and have used it several times…but for some reason I always color the truck red…I LOVE it in blue…gotta remember that!
I always have loved that image and the scoring around is just perfect:)
Wonderful scoring, Anne. It’s never as easy as it looks, is it? Your final result is beautiful, and such nice water coloring.
A scored frame is not simple at all and you did it very well – it’s so hard to get the lines to match up exactly! Great OLW card!
Very beautiful card.
Once again a very nice card.
great card Anne…the scoring just frames the scene so nicely…
thanks for playing along!!
