Festival of Prints Tea Bag Folding-Stamping 411 SSC 266

Another great sketch this week over at Stamping 411.

Here’s my contribution:

Tea Bag Folding 010

I’ve been wanting to try the Tea Bag Folding technique for quite a while.  When I saw this week’s sketch, I knew it was time to learn!  There are a gazillion tutorials and videos available online, and I found this easy-to-follow video by Rosie Owens.  Thanks to Rosie, I was tea bag folding within minutes.  I used my brand new pack of Festival of Prints DSP (oh my, I love every single print in this pack!) and In Color Dahlias. I will be creating more with the Tea Bag Folding technique as it lends itself beautifully to all the available pretty Designer Series Paper.  Not a bad day.  I learned a new technique and was able to use a new product!

Here’s the original sketch:

I watched the videos and realized how to do a shaker card. Pretty cool. The bubble wrap card is so much fun. The blue really stands out in each card. I like your videos. You get right to the card instructions. Great creative ideas. -D Welch
