I’ve been busy prepping for an upcoming class for the ladies in Wetmore. One of the projects we’ll be doing will feature the Shaving Cream Technique, one of my all-time favorites! I love how each background turns out different-kind of like tie dye!
This is one of the samples I created using this week’s Stamping 411 sketch. The Wetmore ladies asked that one of the cards we create for the class be masculine-themed. I thought Out to Sea would be perfect, both for the theme and for the technique. Don’t know yet if this one will make it as a final project for the class. What do you think?
Here’s the sketch:
Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Out to Sea, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Night of Navy, Night of Navy and Bashful Blue reinkers
Paper: Whisper White, Bashful Blue, Night of Navy
Accessories: shaving cream, 3/4″, 1 1/4″ and 1 3/8″ circle punches, Paper Piercing Tool and mat, Night of Navy Brads

oops – it helps if I read the post first. LOL
The background is beautiful and the card is awesome. What ink colors did you use to get the swirls? TFS
Anne — I love the effect of the shaving cream background — fabulous job! Thanks for playing along at Stamping 411! Blessings, Gretchen
Anne, what a great technique to showcase with this stamp set. Brilliant!
