Sunflower Inspired-Faux Silk Sunflower

This card was inspired by the beautiful tall sunflowers I have growing in my garden.  I love watching the sunflowers turn to follow the sun throughout the day. Amazing!

This is the inspiration:

The technique is called faux silk, and is very easy to do.  Stamp your image on a piece of tissue paper.  Crumple the tissue paper into a ball, then flatten out.  Apply a coating of glue to a piece of neutral colored card stock using a glue stick.  Lay the tissue paper over the card stock, wrapping and gluing the the edges to the back.

Stamp set: Sunflower, Sincere Salutations

Ink: Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Wild Wasabi

Paper: Wild Wasabi, Early Espresso, Whisper White, tissue paper

Accessories: Anywhere Glue Stick, Extra Large and Scallop Oval punches, Dimensional
