Fossil Stone Technique-Inspired by Nature

Fossil Stone!  One of my new favorite background techniques.  And it is so simple to do (see the instructions on my posting dated 09/14/10)  I used one of my favorite stamp sets, Inspired by Nature for both of these samples.

Fossil Stone 017
Supplies Used:

Stamp Sets: Inspired by Nature, Teeny Tiny Wishes

Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango for background, Black Stazon for flowers

Paper: Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, glossy white

Accessories: two transparency sheets, Modern Label and Word Window punches, Dimensionals

This sample was truly “Inspired by Nature!”  This summer we had beautiful Tall Coneflowers growing along our creek.  They stood taller than me and attracted a whole array of butterflies.  I enjoyed standing still among them watching the butterflies landing to feed.  Sometimes, each flower would have 3 to 4 butterflies feeding at once.

I watched the videos and realized how to do a shaker card. Pretty cool. The bubble wrap card is so much fun. The blue really stands out in each card. I like your videos. You get right to the card instructions. Great creative ideas. -D Welch
