Top 10 Favorite Stamping Techniques-4 through 7

The swap theme for our January Sunday Stamp Club was “our favorite stamping technique.”  I have so many favorites, and I couldn’t come up with just one.  So, I made a different swap card for each member using one of my 10 favorite techniques. Be sure to check my posting on Feb 7 to see the first three of my top 10 favorite  stamping techniques.

So, without further delay, and in no particular order, here are my next 3 favorite stamping techniques:

Favorite Stamping Techniques 023

Gold Tipped Embossing-this is one I learned at the Stampin’ Up! Regionals in PHX in January.

Ink up your image using craft ink.  Then dab on Encore Gold Metallic ink on the tips of the image.  Heat emboss with Iridescent Ice embossing powder for a sparkly effect.

Stamp Set: With All My Heart

Ink: Real Red Craft, Encore Gold Metallic

Paper: Basic Black, Whisper White, Gold

Accessories: Iridescent Ice embossing powder, heat tool, 1 3/8″, 1 1/4″ and 1 1/16″ circle punches, Vintage Brad, sponge dauber, Hugs Sending Love Note cards

For all of the cards, I used the Hugs die-cut Sending Love Note cards and the coordinating Glassine Rectangle Envelopes found on page 19 of the Occasions Mini Catalog.  You can decorate and add a greeting to the scalloped edged “Hug” note card and put it in a glassine envelope as is or add it to the inside of a folded card like I did with my swaps, measuring 3 3/4 x 4 1/2 and scored at 2 1/8.  These make sending little love notes to your favorite Valentine so simple!
