We’ve lost a very special and creative friend and stamper. Elizabeth “Beth” Ann Miller passed away on November 2, 2009. She put up a valiant fight against cancer with such grace and optimism.
Beth is best remembered for her love of life and of family and friends, her gentle, caring and creative presence and her valuing of her spiritual life.
Beth was an avid stamper and loved to create cards for her family and friends. At her funeral service, the pastor asked how many in attendance had received a handmade card from Beth. I would say 75% of the standing room only audience raised their hand! Her daughter Jessica told us that Beth’s apartment looked like one big craft room!
Beth was one of the original members or our Saturday Stamp Club. We were very blessed to get to know her and her creative spirit. She will be missed terribly.
Things I know about Beth
-She was always willing to help those in need.
-She was very active at Rio Grande Presbyterian Church in ABQ and was instrumental in starting their Food Share Program. This food pantry now serves over 25,000 people in the ABQ area!
-She loved animals, especially dogs.
-She loved butterflies, glitter and the color purple!
This was Beth’s last swap card for the Stamp Club.
The greeting, “You only live life once, but if you do it right, once in enough” captures Beth, her love of life and the unwillingness to give up under difficult circumstances.
Rest in Peace, Beth.

beth was a very caring person and a treasure to know i will miss having her sit next to me at stamp club. we always had such fun kidding each other about our goof ups. heavean has a wonderful angel and we will all miss her greatly
