Stamping With Blue Moon Creations

Valentine Shaker Magnets

I made these shaker magnets as thank you gifts for guests at a recent workshop.  Very fun and easy to make!

Stamps: Happy Heart Day, Love You Much

Ink: Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, Old Olive ink pads and markers, Basic Black

Paper: Whisper White, Candy Lane and Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper

Accessories: Heart to Heat punch, Small Tag punch, Old Olive 1/4″ Grosgrain ribbon, Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon, Crystal Effects to glue the lid to the tin, glitter, Wilton Flavor Tins (found at Jo Ann’s), peel and stick magnets (found at any office supply store.)  To pop up the tag inside the tins, I used 2 layers of the old rubber left over from cutting out stamp sets.  I have several baggies filled with pieces of rubber that I use to bring dimension to  projects. Peel off the rubber on one side and the adhesive backing on the other and you are left with a double sided sticky piece.

Testimonials

I watched the videos and realized how to do a shaker card. Pretty cool. The bubble wrap card is so much fun. The blue really stands out in each card. I like your videos. You get right to the card instructions. Great creative ideas. -D Welch
