Single Snowflake Wishes Watercolor Background
Here’s another card I created using the Watercolor Wash Background Technique paired with the color combo of Misty Moonlight, Seaside Spray, and Gorgeous Grape.
For me, these colors say “winter!”
This card was easy to make.
Here’s how:
- Create watercolor wash background by creating palettes of color by dropping color from reinkers onto the lids of Misty Moonlight, Seaside Spray, and Gorgeous Grape ink pads.
- Spritz watercolor paper card front with water. Pick up colors one at a time from the ink lids using a water painter and swipe on the wet card front. Add more color or water as desired. When satisfied, set piece aside to dry completely.
- Stamp large snowflake from Snowflake Wishes on card front using Whisper White Craft Ink. Sprinkle with white embossing powder and emboss using a heat tool. Buff image with a paper towel.
- Stamp greeting from Snowflake Wishes using Gorgeous Grape ink. I used my Stamparatus to get a good, dark image.
- Attach to Night of Navy mat. Attach to Gorgeous Grape card base. Attach Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems to complete.
